AI-Karma

AI-Karma helps Swiss SMEs see where they stand on responsible use of artificial intelligence. Its KarmaScore measures maturity over 24 indicators in four dimensions: technology, compliance, environment and society. The score is fully decomposable, so every point traces back to an answer, and each question cites the legal provision behind it, from the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection to the EU AI Act. The tools are free, need no account, and the answers stay in the browser: an AI system register in the sense of art. 26 of the AI Act, a risk classification of use cases, a data protection impact pre-screening and a transparency notice generator. They are information tools, not legal advice, and the score is self-declared rather than audited. The methodology is published in full, so any result can be recomputed or contested. The project is run from Juriens, canton of Vaud. Paid support exists for SMEs that want their answers checked against evidence.
